lol it still has its testing pitot static tube on the nose :P
still nice though, a little too reflective on the skin for future reference (aircraft dont shine)

Planes have pitot tubes in various places and as far as I know they're not only for the testing phase but for operational as well. You may be right about the F-35's case, and sure it shines, that's what I wanted in this artwork, though I know it has nonreflective skin. I didn't think about it as reflection but as very strong unimpeded sunlight overloading every object in its path at that altitude. I guess it is kind of funny now that I think about it. Thanks for your technical analytical observations.

Thanks, Buddie! You do bring out some good points in case I decide to do a painting based on this in the future. Now that the 35 is operational, I'll have some better photo references of it, maybe with the pitot tube in a different place for instance.
